SITEC series production stands for excellent quality. To that, we carry out process development in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 or IATF 16949. Coordinated process monitoring ensures maximum performance at every stage of the production process. Product and process audits according to VDA 6.3 are also conducted for monitoring and optimization purposes.

Using state-of-the-art coordinate measuring technology and GPS-enabled software, qualified QA personnel in an air-conditioned measuring room accurately record characteristics for analysis and monitoring of delivered raw parts and serial products.

Sophisticated sensor technology is used to detect deviations from specified geometric tolerances, ensuring comprehensive quality control and targeted optimization of production processes.

Visual inspection

Evaluation of surfaces and components for irregularities, such as mechanical damage, using:

  • Visual inspection without tools (normal vision)
  • Visual inspection with tools such as a microscope, endoscope, or magnifying glass

Weld inspection

Qualified personnel use a micrograph and a measuring microscope to verify compliance with the defined requirements for a weld cross section. At the same time, this inspection focuses on conformity with weld irregularity limits.

Rauheits- und Konturenprüfung

Durch Rauheits- und Konturenmessungen erfolgt die Qualitätsprüfung der Leistungsfähigkeit und Funktionalität der Oberflächen unserer Produkte. Durch den Einsatz spezieller Messgeräte analysieren wir die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit bis ins kleinste Detail.

Hardness and hardener profile testing

In the hardness and hardener profile testing, the material properties are examined by trained auditors at defined points and during the course of the test by trained specialists using a material micrograph. In addition to other possible hardness testing methods, SITEC focuses on the Vickers hardness test. This test, as well as the others mentioned here, guarantees a comprehensive quality control and targeted optimization of production processes.

Leak testing

By measuring welded components against leakage limits, the tightness of the weld can be verified. Various media such as helium or air are used.

Burst testing

In a bursting pressure test, a component is subjected to an appropriate load curve over time at a limiting pressure or to burst. Either the strength characteristics of the feedstock or the weld on the component are tested.
