Commitment and responsibility for sustainability

Sustainability is an integral part of our business strategy. All products we develop undergo an environmental assessment. Whether raw materials or energy, we use them as efficiently as possible.

What sustainability means to SITEC

For us as a medium-sized company, sustainability means taking a holistic view of our actions and using resources responsibly.

We promote renewable energy in production

Since 2020, we have installed a large solar power system at our headquarters in Chemnitz. 86% of the electricity generated goes directly into our production processes. This will save around 200 tons of CO₂ emissions per year.

We successfully implement established standards

Our environmental management system is continuously certified to DIN EN ISO 14001. We are committed to environmentally conscious actions and strive to meet and exceed environmental standards. We meet customer needs for sustainability ratings and promote transparent, responsible business practices.

We are involved in regional projects

We take responsibility for nature through our commitment to regional environmental initiatives and species conservation projects. At the same time, we are actively involved in supporting young talent in the areas of education and sports. Our goal is to make a positive contribution to society and the environment and to help shape a sustainable future.

We develop and research sustainable technologies

We are committed to the development and use of sustainable and future-oriented production technologies. We always ensure that our products contribute to an industrial economy that conserves resources and protects the environment.

We promote employee satisfaction

Our employees are the heart of our company. We attach great emphasis to supporting them in many areas. This includes our health management, the implementation of our CSR policy and the opportunity to play an active role in the development of SITEC. We care about their wellbeing and development.

We ensure a sustainable supply chain

We are committed to a sustainable supply chain for our customers that promotes ethical, environmentally and socially responsible practices, particularly in the context of Conflict Minerals Regulations. We also ensure that our products and services are sustainable and future-oriented.

Certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001

Since 2003, we have been successfully and continuously certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001. This underlines our commitment to environmentally friendly processes and sustainable management.
